Touhou is a great series with so many good characters!
Not only is it a massive labor of love by its lone creator, but it developed a fan culture that's been hard to match by any other series!
I love all the elements of Japanese folklore it uses. Youkai in particular are fascinating to me!
The games are quite tough, but with a little practice perseverence, not impossible!
One aspect of its community is that more skilled players often share their game replays and provide tips to those who may be struggling.
ZUN's music is incredible and his artwork is cute!
